True to form, the music for Star Trek Beyond was composed by award-winning Michael Giacchino, who was responsible for the other soundtracks since the reboot (as well as the soundtracks for Jurassic World, Dawn Planet of the Apes and more (might want to check those out).  The track listing is as follows:

  3. Night on the Yorktown (5:36)

Star Trek Beyond: New Star Trek Movie For 2016

July 22 marks the release of the latest Star Trek reboot (number 3) — with the likes of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba and the late Anton Yelchin (R.I.P.) — Star Trek Beyond.  According to what I’ve read, the crew’s latest voyage sends them to unexplored territory (can you say awesome, alien lifeforms), where communication (and a means of escape) becomes rather problematic (to say the least).  It sounds like it should be another good one.

With that said, I think that we true Trekkies should go out in full support as a show of solidarity for Anton.  I’m also looking forward to seeing what Idris is going to do (didn’t want to look up spoilers and ruin it for myself you haven’t already, I also recommend that you get the other two film with the reboot cast, so you can add them to your collection — because even in the digital age we live in — some things are just worth having for keeps.  I’ll do you the favor of putting the Amazon links (the pics) to these down below.
